Erickson Senior Living is one of the most respected developers and managers of continuing care retirement communities in the country, and a leader in innovative senior housing and health care.
The proposed project is currently in a multi-year rezoning process before the Howard County Zoning Board. Prior to going before the zoning board, our proposed project needed to advance through several approval stages as outlined by the local government.
On July 27, 2018, the Howard County Council unanimously approved legislation to permit the extension of water and sewer service to the property in Clarksville. Next, the Howard County Planning Board voted unanimously on March 21, 2019 in favor of the project.
Support for the project continues to grow, and is a key part of Erickson Senior Living’s commitment to building relationships with community members, business leaders and local officials in the area. There is great demand for more senior housing options in the county as residents remain eager to have access to the project’s continuing care retirement services.
The next hearing is scheduled for September 29th at 6:00 p.m. At this meeting, the Zoning Board will begin deliberation, which means reviewing the merits of our proposal before making a final decision. The hearing is currently scheduled to be held virtually. We will keep you updated when more information becomes available.
Thank you for your support – it is truly making a difference!
